(CNN) — For many people, travel these days is fraught with second-guessing, extra research and plenty of confusion by way of logistics, travel restrictions and safety — and that’s before you add in what everyone else has to say about your decisions.

Travelers who choose to share what they’re getting up to on vacation right now may find themselves beset with a case of 2020’s latest plague: travel shaming.

Hawaii’s vacation rentals hard hit in June by lockdowns and low travel demand

The lifting of COVID-19-related emergency vacation rental bans on the neighbor islands for the back half of June improved statewide vacation rental performance, but just barely.

Statewide vacation rental occupancy in June rose to 13.8%, a number that was 59.8 percentage points behind June 2019 but better than the prior month. In June 2020, the total monthly supply of statewide vacation rentals fell 61.5% to 339,441 unit nights and monthly demand fell 92.8% to 46,719 unit nights.

In comparison, only 9% of short-term units statewide were occupied in May, a month when emergency bans were active on all islands

US travel magazine lists Pakistan as top tourist destination for 2020 – News

Pakistan has more peaks taller than 22,965ft, making it an almost magnetic spot for adventure travellers and hikers.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government’s efforts to promote tourism promotion have started yielding results as Traveller by Cond Nast, one of the world’s best travel portals, has listed Pakistan as one of the top tourist destinations for 2020.

“The adventure traveller’s must-visit goes from strength to strength,” said the world’s leading travel magazine while highlighting Pakistan’s scenic and mesmerizing tourist attractions.
